Why I created Bitesize Golf
Because junior golf deserves more than a few lessons and the hope that children somehow find their own way.
After decades of coaching young golfers, I kept seeing the same thing.
Children didn't lack enthusiasm.
Coaches didn't lack commitment.
Parents didn't lack encouragement.
What was often missing was a pathway connecting everything together.
I wanted every young golfer to understand where they were, what they were learning and what they could work towards next. I wanted parents to feel part of the journey.
And I wanted coaches to have the structure and resources to build junior programmes that could last for years rather than constantly starting again.
That became Bitesize Golf.
Not a shortcut.
