The Junior Golf Pathway:

From first swing to future pro

Every young golfer needs somewhere to go next

Bitesize Golf gives young players a clear 10-level pathway through the game, taking them from their first experiences of golf through progressively more advanced skills, knowledge, challenges and achievements.

Every level builds on the one before it, so players, parents and coaches always know where they are, what they are learning and what comes next.

Golf development needs a destination

A clear pathway

Children rarely stop enjoying golf because there is nothing left to learn.

They lose interest when progress becomes unclear.

Without a pathway, lessons can become a series of disconnected sessions with no obvious destination. Young golfers need to understand what they are learning, why it matters and where it is taking them.

Bitesize Golf replaces that uncertainty with a clear journey through 10 progressive levels.

Know where you are

Every young golfer can see their current level and understand where they are on their development journey.

02

Know what to learn

Each level introduces new skills, knowledge, challenges and experiences in a clear, structured progression.

03

Know what comes next

Progress naturally leads to the next level, helping young golfers stay motivated and giving every achievement a purpose.

Ten levels. One continuous journey.

The Bitesize Golf pathway breaks a complex game into manageable stages of development.

Young golfers progress through 10 clearly defined levels, with every stage introducing new skills, knowledge, challenges and achievements.

Developing the whole young golfer

Bitesize Golf is designed to develop much more than technique.

As young golfers progress through the pathway, they learn to think, solve problems, practise independently, make decisions, respond to challenges and take greater responsibility for their own development.

Golf becomes the environment in which those qualities grow.

Make progress visible

Progress is more powerful when young golfers can see it.

Throughout the Bitesize Golf pathway, players work towards clearly defined achievements and milestones. Progress reports, challenges, certificates and level awards help children recognise how far they have come and give them something meaningful to work towards next.

Built from 40 years of junior coaching

The Bitesize Golf pathway was not created in a meeting room.

It grew from decades of coaching young golfers, observing how children learn, where traditional programmes lose momentum and what keeps players engaged long enough to develop a genuine relationship with the game.

Those lessons have been shaped into one structured pathway that coaches, parents and young golfers can follow together.

One pathway. Different roles.

The pathway belongs to the young golfer, but everyone around them has a role in helping that journey continue.

Take the pathway with you

The Bitesize Golf app brings the pathway into one digital environment.

Young golfers can explore their level, access learning content, complete challenges and continue their development beyond the coaching session, while parents and coaches remain connected to the same journey.

Golf is the journey - Bitesize Golf is the vehicle

With every child that picks up a golf club and begins their journey, there's unlimited potential being released. It's not necessarily about creating Tour champions, it's more about unlocking and maximising each child's creativity, their imagination and passion for having fun. It's about learning, exploring ideas and belonging to a family of like-minded friends. It's also about creating memories, challenging yourself and pushing your limits.
